Enterprise Account Executive (Hunter)
Reporting to the VP of Sales & Product Management, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a key role within our organization, responsible for selling Prairie's interactive voice and text solution within targeted named accounts, market verticals or geographical territories. This person will work closely with an Inside Sales Representative in uncovering new business opportunities, setting appointments and presenting Prairie solutions to the appropriate decision makers within the prospect organizations. To be successful, our candidate must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, as well as the ability to influence others and create compelling lines of reasoning.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
* Building a qualified sales funnel and selling to meet or exceed quota
* Aligning Prairie solution offerings with client requirements and needs
* Adhering to Prairie selling processes, practices and rules of engagement
* Growing assigned territory and qualifying opportunities
* Penetrating deeper and wider in current vertical markets as well as expanding into new markets
* Supporting marketing campaigns targeted at specific industries or geographic regions
* Understanding market trends and competition in the market place
* Building long lasting relationships with key people in target accounts
* Communicating effectively with team members and prospective clients
* Promoting the Prairie brand and presenting the company's value proposition clearly and accurately
* Being wiling and able to travel 50-60% of time to meet with clients face-to-face
* Entering contact and prospect data in CRM/SFA database
Educational, Technical, and Functional Skills Required
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Demonstrated presentation skills with ability to present complex solutions in a formal environment
* Demonstrated experience with database entry and management
* Ability to visualize solution and communicate to the prospect
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent listening skills
Desired Qualifications
* Background in selling automated interactive voice and test messaging, fax, email, or predictive/autodialer solutions
* Background of selling big ticket solutions to major accounts in the United States
* Experience working within the Financial Services, Transportation & Logistics, Contact Center, Telecommunications, Healthcare, or Utilities Industries.
* History of meeting and exceeding quotas
* SPIN Selling®, Solution Selling™ or other consultative sales training
* Product knowledge or Prairie solutions: features, functions and benefits
* Channel/OEM sales experience a plus
