The Senior Operations Accountant II is responsible for supervising a group of Operations Accountants to ensure that all mutual fund activity has been processed accurately and in accordance with department policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for coordinating data exchanges with Portfolio Management, Transfer Agency, Custody and Pricing Services to ensure that all required data and transactions are received on a timely basis.
This position will also be expected to oversee processing for all types of Funds and be familiar with the accounting treatment for all types of securities including complex securities, foreign securities, asset-backed securities and derivatives.
The qualifed candidate will have:
Bachelors degree required.
4+ years of related experience.
Excellent communication and PC skills.
Knowledge of mutual fund industry.
