my roommate stacey is leaving philly for grad school in ohio in august, so i'll need someone to take her room in my apartment. here are the details:
3 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo in liberties west condos at 7th and fairmount ave. minutes from center city. close to public transportation. there's some basement storage space (not a lot, but you can stack some rubbermaid bins there). we alternate months on a parking spot inside the gates and there's plenty of on-street parking. the apartment is small, but comfortable and secure. the bedroom available is 8.5 ft. by 11 ft. Rent is $483.33 per month, and includes hot water and gas for the heat (that means so separate gas bill for heat in the winter!) We do pay for cooking gas, but it is never more than $20 a month total. The other utilities (cable/internet, electric) range from $50-$75, and fluctuate depending on running air conditioners.
We are two Drexel graduates (both hold degrees in Photography). We're not necessarily looking for a roommate who will be our best friend, but who will be friendly and not make being home awkward. We like to live comfortably, and take turns regularly cleaning the common areas/taking out trash, etc. We're not neat-freaks, and occasionally, the dishes will sit in the sink for a night, but we'd like someone with common sense and consideration!
Trying to find good, responsible, considerate, friendly roommates is really stressful, so if anyone has any leads... LET ME KNOW!
