Major duties and responsibilities include: Prepare financial statements, reports, and records; monthly closing of the books; enter transactions in accounting records; prepare journal entries; maintain internal reports and schedules; perform/review monthly bank reconciliations; reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis; work with independent auditors; and work independently and contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed including special projects.
Requirements:
Qualifications include: a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 3 + years of experience; public accounting experience preferred; excellent knowledge of Excel; problem solving and analytical skills required; knowledge of computer general ledger packages desired;
