Then join us. We're not just the army. We're the PA National Guard. That means you only have to work for us ONE weekend a month, TWO weeks a year (I spent my summer this July cooking 2 meals a day and spending the rest of it CHILLING AT THE POOL in California... how did you spend yours??).
What's one weekend a year and 2 weeks a year compared to:
-a $20,000 signon bonus (we're talking one lump sum here...taxable sorry blame Uncle Sam)
-FREE dental and medical
-ALL your college tuition paid for (yup even if you go to Med school or Law School)
-Free cool camo uniforms (look ma I'm invisible against this bush!) with lotsa velcro pockets
-Free training (wanna blow sh&%! up? Now's your chance to do it LEGALLY)
-Jobs that carry over into the civilian world, like combat engineer, demolition engineer, communications officer, combat medic, cook (that's me!), Admin NCO, infantry soldier, or gee how about UNITED STATES ARMY SOLDIER!
-Free high speed physical fitness training (before I joined Basic Training I could do TWO pushups and ran my 2 mile run in 19 minutes...Now I do 60 pushups in 2 minutes and run 2 miles in 14 minutes!)
