Animus is amazing. I first heard them a couple months ago and was blown away. Their original tunes are fantastically diverse and their musicianship is so impressive. If you love good music, you won't want to miss them. I saw them recently at Showcase Underground at the 5 Spot and hope that they win the tribe.net contest for studio time...they deserve to be heard by a much broader audience. - Kira , posted 12/30/04 |

When you go out to see live music do you just want to see a bunch of people playing music or do you want a "MAGICAL EXPERIENCE"!!! Go see Animus whenever you get the chance and it will always be a magical experience guaranteed. I've seen them perform many times but the show at the Five Spot with the Showcase Underground was incredible. If there is any unsigned local band that should be getting some studio time at Milk Boy Studios it's got to be Animus. - DAVE , posted 12/26/04 |

I have seen Animus many times, including the Showcase Underground at the Five spot. They are definitely one of the most original, interesting, and talented bands I have ever heard. The last few years, one of my favorite parts of the Fringe is when Animus closes the cabaret on the last night of the Fringe. The music is amazing...
