Bleu is in the perfect place to people watch. You have a great view of the square when sitting by their large windows or their outdoor seating. Their menu is limited. When we went for dinner they had 2 fish dishes, rack of lamb, steak and their signature "Bleu Burger". The Bleu Burger was a huge juicy hamburger served with a generous amount of bleu cheese and bacon on a toasted roll. Their fries were crispy and nicely seasoned and they was a very generous portion with the burger. The rack of lamb however, was on the greasy side and the entire dish was left swimming in it. The wine selection was excellent and well paired with their menu. The restaurant overall is on the pricey side. Service was good. This is the quintessential Rittenhouse Square restaurant. There?s seating outside, stylish d?cor inside, the food is delicious, pricey, and oh so pretty to look at. It?s a great place to see people and be seen by people. - Carolyn , posted 05/16/05 |
