I was lucky enough to attend the dress rehearsal last night and I was absolutely riveted through the whole performance. Leah Stein's dance company were fabulous and the choreography was fresh and captivating. The music was incredible too, one particular stand out was the baritone soloist--Dimitri Lazich--he is one of the finest singers I have ever seen. If you don't know Carmina Burana--think of the gothic sounding music you hear in a lot of movie trailers. However, it's so much more. The piece is so emotional, it's terrifying at one point and angelic in the next. Please go!!
