First Fridays in Old City is where to go to browse through all of the many galleries that make up this arts section of Philadelphia. Visit www.oldcity.org/ocaanew/group.html for a listing of the galleries in Old City, or grab a City Paper or Philadelphia Weekly and read about the monthly exhibits. On First Fridays you will fnid galleries bustling with people from the close of work about 5:30-6 til about 9-9:30. Some galleries offer wine or beer and munchies. You may also find street performers or musicians to entertaih you.
