Still carries the flag
Friday, Saturday, Sunday was one of the first good restaurants in downtown Philadelphia in the 1970's. At that time, the city was a desolate place on the weekends, after the office workers left. But they had a vision, that people would come downtown for a good meal on a weekend. And the food was ALWAYS good! I've been going there since the beginning, and I'll keep going there - highly recommended! - Liz , posted 05/15/05

Great spot for a date - and special policy on wine
Wines here are all $10 over cost. This lets patrons try something more special than they normally could at other restaurants which charge 200-300% premium. And the food is well worth the trip. - Wilhelm , posted 05/11/05

Great Date Place!
This has been a favorite of mine for 15 years. Best seat in the house is upstairs either in the dining room or at the Tank Bar. I love all of their food but my sentimental favorites are the Cream of Mushroom Soup, and the 5 Leaf Salad. Especially in the winter! Very romantic. Great staff. - Debra , posted 04/21/05

Still great after all these years!
I've eaten here for many years and have never been disappointed. The tank bar is great and it's so much fun interacting with the staff. The food, always consistently delicious and the atmosphere, warm and inviting, welcomes patrons and is conducive to a memorable evening. A+++ - Unsubscribed , posted 04/10/05

Wonderful Food and Ambience
My fiance and I ate at Friday Saturday Sunday this past weekend for our anniversary and had a wonderful meal. The service was great and the place was cool, cozy and romantic. Above all, the food was excellent, we enjoyed everything from the 5 Leaf Goat Cheese salad to the Filet to the cheesecake. Highly Recommended!! - Lauren , posted 09/05/04

Good Eats. Great Desert. Excellent Coffee.
It feels like the set of a movie from the 70's, but not in a disco sort of way.
Pretty cozy inside, good for a date or to just hang out with friends. Upstairs there's a bar that's pretty cool with huge fish tank behind it.

The Key-Lime pie is a favorite of my wife, and the coffee is La Colombe which kicks ass. The food I can't remember, but I think that's because I was too busy absorbing all the other cool things about the place.

If you like it, try Astral Plane on 17th and Lumbard - much the same feel and their food I remember was good. - Tubby , posted 08/26/04
