I used to go to Society Hill vet, but went to Girard for an emergency. I found that my visits there were only 30% of the cost of the other vet. The care was even better!!! The vet there is really nice and they have their own adopted animals relaxing in the waiting room. The only drawback is that because it is a clinic, you cannot make appointments. Also, the hours are strange because the clinic closes in the middle of the day for surgeries, then reopens in the afternoon.  Dr. Cyntia Balzer is really compassionate but firm. The staff are all friendly. Our dog gets great care, and I'm falling in love with one of their resident cats, Julius. You don't need an appointment and the wait is never unreasonable if you get there early (first come first serve). Call for hours. - mr e , posted 10/07/04 |
