Fun, cheap place on South St.
If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive place to eat on South St, this is a good option. The milkshakes and flavored sodas are really good and there are jukeboxes on everytable so you can pick the music too. - blank , posted 05/17/05

Food's all right, but it's too embarrassing to sit there
I have been embarrassed everytime I've been dragged to this restaurant. It's so cheesey and corporate and florecent. And they have these big windows so anyone on the street can see you sitting in there. I feel so sorry for the waiters and waitresses when they have to get up a dance.

I don't have any complaints about the food, just the scene. - Firebunny , posted 04/26/05

I loved this place
Maybe I'm just a dork, but I'm a sucker for a cute little diner with old school jukeboxes playing Oldies music. This blast from the past offers fantastic milkshakes, good service, and a very clean bathroom. The menu could be longer, and I thought the chicken fingers were average at best, but if you're looking for a milkshake and some very good fries, Johnny Rockets is your place. - Joia , posted 04/23/05

You wouldn't think it, but its really good!
Well, sometimes you need some comfort food, a guilty pleasure. Johnny Rockets at 5th and South, can deliver on that hankering for a burger. My personal favorites at this retro diner are the Streamliner (their veggie burger), the milkshakes (to die for, i'm not kidding), and the cheese fries. If I'm down, or need to indulge, this is definately on my list of places to go. Its tacky, its over the top, but it can't be beat. And you know its clean, hell, it sparkles like the top of the chrystler building. So go, sit, eat, you'll be glad you did. That is until you step on the scale. But try it, you'll like it! - Unsubscribed , posted 10/08/04
