My thoughts
The food is okay, it's noisy ... but it's nice having it there! - Dino , posted 12/07/06

Why Bother?
I've been there a few times and the food is alright. Its really annoying when they put you in the tables next to the bar though. Too much ass in my face. The last straw for me though was when it was warm a couple Saturdays ago when we stopped by because we were in the neighborhood and starving. There were tables outside so I sat down with my puppy while my wife went in to let them know we were out there. They said they weren't serving outside. Why the fuck have tables out there then?? Enough....there are better places. - Carl , posted 03/21/06

surely not instant macaroni
I never thought you could order macaroni from a restaurant unless it would be for a little kid or something. This place had the best macaroni & cheese an adult could have. I wonder what kind of cheese it was. it was a good experience today. - sean , posted 10/23/05

AT HOME WITH THE BRADY BUNCH
THE DECOR REMINDS YOU OF THE BRADY BUNCH.
THE PLATTERS ARE VISUALLY APPEALING. THE PORTIONS VERY LARGE. - CATHERINE , posted 05/17/05

Cool atmosphere; poor food
I was so excited to go here for brunch but wound up being disappointed. I ordered an egg and lox omelet which was not all that. Maybe I didn't order the right thing though because I heard the pancakes are great. Cool atmosphere though. - Vicki , posted 05/16/05

Best Restraunt on E Chestnut St.
Great food with a lot of variety. Nice atmosphere and waitstaff. A meal for two can be done under $40. - Ned , posted 05/11/05

best brunch spot
This place great for a Sunday brunch. They have excellent bloody mary's and a yummy espresso martini to help you wake up after a long weekend. The food is good, but the atmosphere makes it better. Who doesn't love shag carpets and a fireplace?! - Kristi , posted 04/30/05

Favorite F'in Resturant in the City
What can I say, I love this place. (I might even marry it!) You can get a homecooked meal gormet style. The mac and chesse is so delicious, it's almost like a food gasam. The fried chicken is better than my mom makes, brunch is to die for, great AM drinks, It does get crowded at time but that's because rave rave rave rant rant rant. Just go, eat drink, and be merry. - Nuclear J , posted 04/24/05

Cute decor, bad execution
The restaurant is very cute from first glance, but it is over crowded and just a tad rude. The food is good and when dining at an off hour the place is not so overwhelming. - Elle , posted 04/20/05

Inexpensive, yet good
The cheapest of Starr's Restaurants. Thanksgiving dinner is available 365. Try the macaroni, its delicious. The decor is unique and comfortable. If you're looking to save money, go here. - Brandon , posted 10/06/04
