Looking for something new to do last summer to cool off, I found River Country just north of New Hope, PA. They offer kayaks, canoes and rafts, but tubing is the real highlight. Choose your length of trip and they'll drive you up the river and drop you off at the appropriate place. Get in the water, lie back, relax and watch the scenery pass on by. A few hours later, you will find yourself back at home base. At approximately $20 per person for a 2-4 hour trip, it's a little steep, but you'll be so relaxed you can skip this week's trip to the shrink. It's absolutely worth it. - Matt , posted 10/07/04 |
