One of the best
Robin's has always been, hands down the best all literature & oddities bookstore that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else in the area. The staff are friendly, reliable, and recommend other businesses if Robin's cannot help you. - Laura , posted 10/24/04

Awesome
The location on 13th street is great. The staff is friendly and helpful and you may catch an author in there anyday of the week. Check it out! - Unsubscribed , posted 10/23/04

best used bookstore in the city
Robin's has two locations, one at 108 S. 13th and one at 1837 Chestnut. They both have serious allure. The one on Chestnut is a hidden gold mine of used books--I've found amazing bargins there (travel guides, new fiction, etc.) at a fraction of what you'd pay at Borders. The one on 13th Street is what every bookstore should be. They sponsor author and poetry readings, they've got chairs upstairs to relax and browse through their stacks of discount magazines (they often have current issues, including industry and foreign mags, at 40% off the regular price), and they've also got a wide selection of literature, poetry, African American and travel books as well. Go grab some coffee and spend a few hours browsing and buying... - Joyce , posted 10/09/04
