I didn't know what a "Bento Box" was before Tampopo opened. (It's a meal in a divided dish, with, for example, chicken teriyaki, rice, gyoza, and edmame.) But this is great, low-fat, delicious food. I particularly like the chicken teriyaki and the shrimp teriyaki. And the edmame are always fresh, hot, and delicious. But lately they've been getting so busy, they don't answer the phone for delivery orders. And when I went there last Tuesday night, they were too busy, so they weren't making any sushi. What a disappointment - I love their California Rolls! I hope they get things under control and the success doesn't doom them! - Liz , posted 05/15/05 |
